Systems Analyst And Development Specialist IADB 02 may

The Inter-American Development Bank, the
largest and leading source of financing for regional development in
Latin America and the Caribbean is looking for an energetic Systems
Analysis and Development Specialist, to join the Information Technology
Department, (located at Headquarters in Washington D.C.
USA) to take an active role in the provision of I&T
solutions to a rapidly changing business environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in the field of
computer sciences, information technology, or related discipline.
(Master's degree in the field is highly preferred).

Experience:  At least 4 years in the field
of
information technology including computer programming, systems analysis
and systems design. Project management experience preferred. Experience
in the following technologies and platforms are highly desirable:
Microsoft .NET C#, XML, AJAX, ERP applications, Crystal Reports or
Cognos Tools. ETL tool DataStage, Javascript.

Languages:  Proficiency in English and
Spanish required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the analysis of business
  processes and procedures
  and translate business requirements into effective information
  technology solutions, identifying and defining systems requirements.

• Under the direction of the team leader,
  participate and take an
  active role in the execution of information technology projects and
  activities, including business and systems analysis; system design; and
  system development, testing and implementation.

• Participate in the identification of
  project requirements and in
  the planning of project resources.  Take and active role in the
  development of software requirements specifications and other key
  technical documents.
  
  


• Participate in the analysis, design,
  construction, test,
  implementation and maintenance of system applications to support Bank
  business processes. Participate in system upgrade activities, design
  new modules and system enhancements and perform ongoing maintenance to
  system applications to incorporate changes in policies, procedures and
  user requirements.
  Assist in the transition to new systems.

• Provide post-implementation support to
  users for the modification of procedures and the solution of productions
  problems
